Interview: What FedEx Express’ new Polish station means for UK retailers

Earlier this year, FedEx Express, announced the opening of its new station in Chorzów, Poland. The new facility is designed to boost capacity and improve the efficiency of shipments to locations in Poland and the mariuszrest of the world but what will it mean for UK retailers? eDelivery.net interviewed Mariusz Mik, managing director, Poland operations for FedEx Express, to find out.
How will the new station help leading UK retailers and e-commerce businesses? Does it cut down time to get into Poland and further afield?

The FedEx Chorzów Station will serve as a gateway for inbound and outbound shipments from Poland. The new facility will provide enhanced services strengthening the link between Southern Poland and the global marketplace through this expanded logistics infrastructure, streamlined supply chains and reduced transit times. As a result, UK retailers and e-commerce businesses will benefit from increased opportunities and access to Southern Poland, including speedier deliveries and increased customer service standards.”
