Following a successful trial, InPost automated parcel lockers will be rolled out at approximately 300 Bp service stations across the UK.
Locations include Wandsworth, Glasgow, Ashford and Brentwood, with consumers will be able to “trip-twin” on their visit to Bp, whether that’s collecting a delivery whilst filling up with fuel; or returning a parcel when picking up something for dinner at a forecourt M&S Food store.
As part of this trial thousands of parcels have been processed across five locations, InPost said this highlights a clear appetite from consumers for this convenience-enhancing solution.
“People are always looking for ways to inject ease and convenience into their lives, and the introduction of InPost Lockers to Bp retail sites offers exactly that,” explained Michael Rouse, CEO of InPost International.
“With increasingly busy lives, shoppers can incorporate collecting, returning and sending their parcels into their journeys to work and beyond. It’s fantastic to be able to implement a practical and useful Out-Of-Home delivery solution into local communities up and down the country.”

In April, Sports Direct announced that its customers who wish to return unwanted purchases can drop items in an InPost parcel locker, following a new partnership between the two firms. While supermarket Morrisons recently extended its partnership with the APM provider to cover nearly 80% of all Morrisons stores.
