Deliveroo has announced the expansion of its rapid grocery delivery service, opening two new ‘HOP’ sites in London in partnership with Morrisons and Waitrose.
In the latest move by Deliveroo to expand its on-demand grocery offering across the UK, the new Canning Town and Kentish Town sites will give residents access to products from 8am-11pm, seven days a week.
Deliveroo first launched HOP in 2021 to complement the company’s existing on-demand service, it delivers from nearly 8,000 partner grocery stores in the UK&I – including Morrisons, Co-op, Waitrose, Sainsbury’s and Whole Foods in London.
The rapid delivery firm estimates that HOP is now operating in 70% of London boroughs, allowing tens of thousands of households across the UK capital to benefit from even faster grocery delivery, with Deliveroo’s network of riders delivering straight to customers’ doors in minutes.
Deliveroo’s Hop offering will be one topic for discussion this October when Paul Wilkinson, group product leader at Deliveroo, takes to the stage at the inaugural DeliveryX World.
