DHL has taken on two new UK distribution centres as it looks to scale up its ecommerce offering in the country.
The parcel carrier has taken on sites in Yorkshire and Hampshire, adding more than 160,000 square feet in space.
This week (8 September) the carrier took on a 78,458 square foot site in Dinnington, Sheffield from Trebor Developments and Hillwood. Called Atomic, the site was completed in February and will be adapted to DHL’s purposes.
The other site, taken on late last month, is an 84,000 square foot site at Blackrock and Bericote’s Alpha Park in Southampton.
It consists of 78,000 square feet of warehousing and 6,000 of office space.
