eDelivery Conference preview: Roundtables set for rich learning experience

DeliveryX

At the eDelivery Conference this year we’re eager for delegates to discover as much as possible about how to improve their ecommerce fulfilment and delivery capabilities. The event has been designed with learning, knowledge sharing and examining best practice in mind, with speakers from around the world giving insights into their innovations and ideas – highlighting what works, what doesn’t and what they think the future holds.
The conference theme is Practicality – providing strategic vision for fulfilment professionals particularly in the areas of Availability and Customer Experience. Presentations and discussions will tackle the big issue of the day from getting the most out of warehouse management systems, to supply chain collaboration with suppliers, to handling returns, to the massive growth of click and collect.

benp_internet_retail_berlin_284This year we’re hosting a number of roundtable discussions that will take place following the morning’s Plenary Sessions. Nine in total, these roundtables will bring together the brightest minds to share successes and failures and challenge conventional thinking. They provide a great opportunity for more informal discussions around issues ranging from how to crack delivery into international markets, talent shortages in e-delivery, enhancing the customer experiences and drop-shipping.

Each roundtable will be hosted by a retailer or sponsor with specific knowledge on the subject. So we will welcome Richard Locke, Director of Analytics, Data and General Merchandise, at Ocado who will be overseeing the roundtable on channel management, and Paul Johnson-Barnett, Head of Distribution, Barbour will be kicking off the debate on working with third party suppliers to master international delivery.

If you’re attending the conference on October 11th 2016, make sure you select the roundtable you’re most interested in, and be ready with questions and thoughts that will make these interactive discussions rewarding for you and other participants. The more you put in, the more you’ll get out!
