eDelivery Expo 2016: Day Two – Operations in Multichannel

DeliveryX

Continuing our countdown to eDelivery Expo 2016 (EDX16), here’s an overview of what to look out for on the second and final day, 28 April.
Day Two will get under way in Theatre 3 at 10:35. The day will be themed Operations in Multichannel, and the first session of the day will be a keynote from John Munnelly, head of operations at John Lewis Magna Park. He’ll be conducting a post-mortem of Black Friday, looking at what lessons can be learned for 2016.

John was at EDX15 last year, and his session back then was a full-house. So this is one we know lots of people will be looking forward to. Although last year’s talk was on a different topic, you may find this interview with John from EDX15 interesting.

Following on from John Munnelly, we’ll hear from Glen Richardson, chief marketing officer at Fruugo – a global online marketplace, and later in the morning there’ll be a session looking at how returns can boost customer loyalty.

The afternoon sessions will include how to align logistics and operations with customer experience, featuring Peter Ward from the UKWA, and a talk from Professor Jan Godsell of the University of Warwick looking at operational efficiency.

You can find our interview with Professor Godsell here, which touches on some of the interesting points we can expect to hear more about at EDX16.

Day Two closes with what promises to be a real highlight … a closing keynote from Alibaba on the topic of growth opportunities in China.

You can find details on EDX16, including how to register, here. We look forward to seeing you in April.
