Editorial: Automation gets boost as Ocado reveals limited impact of warehouse fire

This week saw Ocado reveal the impact of a warehouse fire in Andover. The incident in February had raised questions over the viability of its retail business and in a wider sense about automation which now seem to have been laid to rest, if the company’s share price is anything to go by.
In Sweden, the government has approved a trial of driverless vehicles on a public road. In the UK, Royal Mail is hoping to cut emissions through electric vehicles.
