HIVED integrates with Metapack for zero-emission deliveries

Metapack, a global leader in ecommerce delivery technology, has announced that HIVED has joined its Delivery Manager Platform, enabling retailers across the UK to offer their consumers high-quality, zero-emission delivery at affordable prices.

The parcel delivery service start-up has redeveloped the process of getting a parcel from the warehouse to the front door from the ground up. With a 100% electrified fleet, nationwide collection, and same-day, next-day and two-day delivery options, HIVED is offering a decarbonised alternative without compromising affordability or convenience.

“HIVED was founded to reinvent the parcel industry with tech, data, vertical integration and process innovation,” said Murvah Iqbal, CEO and co-founder at HIVED.

“Since our first deliveries in December 2020, we’ve saved thousands of tonnes of carbon emissions and are working with hundreds of major retailers. What keeps us motivated is that we can push and challenge the industry, knowing that we’re doing the right thing for both the planet and people.”

David Randall, strategic partnership director at Metapack said the company was thrilled to have HIVED join its Delivery Manager Platform as it works to provide retailers with the opportunity to implement zero-emission deliveries.

He added: “As consumers become more aware of the carbon footprint of their deliveries, it’s now more important than ever for retailers to consider offering more sustainable delivery options. Our research recently revealed that almost 75% of online shoppers would consider measures to make deliveries more sustainable.”
