Hobbycraft has launched a unique subscription service that is designed to provide growing craft businesses or dedicated crafters with cost savings alongside targeted support and advice.
The UK’s biggest multi-channel arts and crafts retailer has introduced Hobbycraft Plus to support “passionate professional crafters”.
Costing £80 per year, whilst delivering over £170 of cost-savings and activities, the Hobbycraft Plus subscription includes access to bulk products and packaging, and an upgrade for free next day delivery on orders over £25.
Hobbycraft said it aims to make pro-crafters’ lives easier via fast, free product delivery to anywhere in the UK.
The subscription also features annual 15% discount on the Hobbycraft range in-store and online, three free seminars focused on helping crafters grow their business and a quarterly seasonal newsletter.
Katherine Paterson, customer director at Hobbycraft, said: “We are delighted to be launching Hobbycraft Plus this month – our objective is quite simple, we want to support would-be professional crafters to make their dreams a reality and avid crafters who simply like to make lots.
“The service works out at under £7 a month and through the incredible workshops, seminars, and discounts, we look forward to helping our customers make the transition from hobby crafters to professional crafters.”
To help shape the new subscription, Hobbycraft Plus has been built in collaboration with key third party businesses within the crafting community, to ensure the best service possible for would-be professional crafters. Hobbycraft partnered with online marketplace Folksy which sells handmade products and Pedddle, a directory of over 180 independent, creative markets.
It will also work with Untld Project, an independent PR and marketing agency specialising in independent creative and crafty brands, on dedicated business seminars for Hobbycraft Plus subscribers.
