Learn about the future of delivery at the eDelivery conference tomorrow

DeliveryX

Don’t forget the eDelivery Conference takes place tomorrow, Tuesday 11 October 2016 at the Novotel West, London.
The one-day event is themed around the concept of practicality, and aims to arm fulfilment professionals with the strategic vision that they need to stay one step ahead of their competition, and perhaps most importantly one step ahead of customer expectation.

With delivery such an important element of the buying experience online it’s vital that retailers excel in this area and with a conference that brings together leading industry figures to discuss the latest market trends and advancements it’s a conference that is not to be missed.

The eDelivery conference is arranged into two tracks – one focussing on availability and one on experience, as well as a series of roundtable debates that promise a lively mix of thinking and discussion on the day. Those attending need to have selected the roundtable they are most interested in and arrive armed with the questions and thoughts they have around that particular subject. The full list of Interactive Roundtable Discussions can be found here.

The event boasts some a range of market-leading speakers, many of whom we have already previewed. In an interview with eDelivery.net last month Walter Blackwood, of W&MB Consulting and most recently director of group logistics at Mothercare said that retailers: “need to be careful not to over-promise and under-deliver. Make sure you’ve doing as good a job as you can with e-delivery as getting it wrong can be disastrous,” he said.

Leah Zhang, Alibaba’s head of international business development also joins the speaker panel for the eDelivery Conference. She is responsible for helping educate British businesses on the best way to approach the Chinese consumer market so hers is sure to be a popular session.

Craig Wheeler, operations director at Feelunique.com will be discussing how to better work with suppliers to help improve visibility and drive customer satisfaction. We interviewed him on the site last month too.

And Ricky Wilson, head of operations at M&S.com, who is also speaking tomorrow echoes Blackwood’s points. “When you promise a certain level of service and choice it’s absolutely vital to get it right,” he told us in an interview in August.

These are just a few of the speakers who will be presenting tomorrow. You can remind yourself of the full list of keynote speakers, that also includes Amazon, John Lewis and Ocado here.

There is still time to register today (and beat the queues) but you can also still turn up at the Novotel West tomorrow and grab a pass. We look forward to seeing you!
