New CIO for House of Fraser revealed

House of Fraser has announced the appointment of Uday Kotla as its new Chief Information Officer, with effect from 20 April 2015.

In a statement issued this afternoon, House of Fraser said: “Uday Kotla will have responsibility for the continued development of technology led solutions across the business and the integration of business needs with IT strategy and delivery, as House of Fraser continues to develop its multi-channel offer and pursue its global retail ambitions.”

Kotla will sit on the House of Fraser Executive Committee, reporting to Nigel Oddy CEO together with a reporting line to Sanpower Group CIO, Peter Wang.

Kotla has over 20 years’ experience in digital enterprise platforms and has led multiple transformation engagements across businesses in retail, high tech and finance. Prior to joining House of Fraser, he was Global Head of Technology Consulting at Infosys Digital.
