New cloud-based warehouse stock control system to improve efficiencies for smaller retailers

DeliveryX

With slick delivery dependent upon slick stock and warehouse management a new cloud-based solution could help smaller businesses. ProSKU has been developed by Chess Logistics Technology and is a new warehouse stock management application that runs in the cloud, enabling online retailers to manage and track inventory in their warehouses and store rooms.
The app integrates with platforms including eBay, Amazon and Magento, as well as CRM solutions such as Sage.

Chess Logistics Technology claims the new solution is particularly applicable to start-ups and growing businesses for whom established enterprise warehouse management system applications can prove too complex or expensive. It says ProSKU bridges the gap, providing a well-featured and easily deployed solution designed to meet current and future needs of online retailers. It supports both single and multi-site operations.

When setting up users follow on-screen workflows to create their warehouse layout and enter stored product data. Customer, supplier and live inventory data can be entered manually or imported in any common data format. An API allows to integration with other web applications.

Its suitability for small businesses is also supported in its pricing which is based on a monthly pricing plan with a minimum one-month commitment. The solution includes a range of functions including receipts and putaway; picking and despatch and stock management.

ProSKU is hosted on secure, backed up servers and can be accessed from any PC, laptop, tablet or smartphone using any modern browser.
