Parcelforce Worldwide launches new tools to keep customers better informed

DeliveryX

Parcelforce Worldwide has launched a range of digital tools to give customers more information and control over their deliveries.
The company has launched a new app and live tracking capabilities for customers. Called My Parcel Live. The new feature allows customers to track their parcel live on their mobile device. The app also enables them to specify their delivery preferences if they are not at home, such as leaving with a neighbour, Post Office or safe place.

Parcelforce Worldwide has also launched an enhancement to its start of day text message notification to now include the estimated hour of day a customer’s parcel will arrive, as well as the driver’s name, a link to tracking and the My Parcel Live service.

Delays caused by bad weather or traffic delays will also be proactively shared with customers. “The new range of digital tools cater to our customers’ delivery needs, giving them all the information they require to take control of their parcel deliveries,” said Gary Simpson, managing director of Parcelforce Worldwide.
