The UPS Store is to pilot a new print on demand service that will see the company deliver online print orders to customers within the hour through a partnership with US same day delivery specialist Deliv.
The company claims the service is the first of its kind with it now available in more than 180 locations in Chicago and Dallas. The service means customers will be able to print a range of products, such as business cards and presentations or flyers and brochures, which will then be available for delivery within the hour to customers within a five-mile radius from stores involved in the trial.

“This is exactly the type of partnership that offers a real benefit to small businesses,” said Deliv founder and CEO, Daphne Carmeli. “We are delighted to work with The UPS Store to disrupt the print business by offering on-demand delivery. The fact that The UPS Store is utilising Deliv as a local, same-day delivery partner underscores the effectiveness of our on-demand delivery network.”

Deliv was set up as a same-day delivery specialist in 2012 with UPS making a significant investment in the business in February last year.
